Dr. Xiuping Anna Wang, DMD, PhD

Dr. Xiuping Anna Wang earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Master Degree in Medicine from Beijing Medical University, China, in 1995. She later joined in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Helsinki, Finland, where she obtained her PhD degree in Craniofacial and Tooth Development. Dr. Wang also received the D.M.D. degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston.

Dr. Wang worked as an Instructor at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and was a Professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She has given over 30 talks and lectures, and also acted as a symposium organizer and chairwoman in both national and international conferences. Dr. Wang has published over 20 peer reviewed journal articles and numerous abstracts, and served as a reviewer and an editor for several nationally and internationally acclaimed publications in Dentistry. She was awarded the Dean’s Award by the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Sarnat Award in Craniofacial Biology, and the William Gies Award by the International Association of Dental Research.

Dr. Wang further complements her academic and clinical expertise with additional specializations in implant placement and bone grafting, atraumatic oral surgery and tooth extraction, sports and pediatric dentistry, hard and soft tissue lasers, Botox and Dermal fillers. Dr. Wang believes that patient involvement and education are essential to successful treatment and beautiful smiles. Her compassionate and gentle manner is always appreciated by her patients.

Privately, Dr. Wang resides in Boston with her husband and two sons. She enjoys travel and time well-spent with her family outdoors.
